Gentle and Precise

Osteopathy treats the root of the problem, and not only the symptoms. What Is Osteopathy?

I aim to set and follow high standards and offer a warm welcome to new and existing patients. All patients are considered individually, and treatments are tailored to each person’s needs and tolerances.

I assess and treat people of any age including newborns, children and the elderly, women in pregnancy, athletes and dancers; not only targeting symptomatic painful areas, but also finding and treating the cause.

I use a wide range of techniques including massage, shiatsu, acupressure, stretching, cranial (sometimes referred to as ‘cranial osteopathy’) and joint mobilization techniques. This breadth of approach allows me to focus on every patient’s precise needs.

Profile: Oliver Gordon

I have been practicing Internal Martial Arts (Kudakwashe Self Defense of mind & Body and Tai Chi) for the past 18 years and teaching as a 6th Degree Master since 2004, following several invitations and training by the Grandmaster himself (Kudakwashe Self Defense of mind & Body)  in Indonesia. Over this time I wanted to understand the human body with even more depth and understanding, which then led me to the European School of Osteopathy and then the College of Osteopaths, where I graduated with a BSc. Hons. Degree in 2006.  Since then I have been a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council in the UK. I have studied Shiatsu and Cranial Osteopathy, working in children’s clinics since 2004 helping people of all ages from 1 day old to 96 years old with a wide variety of ailments using a wide variety of techniques. My understanding of the body not only plays a role in my daily life, but also offers me many tools in my approach to treating patients on a very practical level. I am interested in a classical, structural and cranial approach to osteopathy.  I feel I have an understanding of how to treat the patient holistically, taking into account influencing factors such as biomechanics, lifestyle, dietary and habitual factors before deciding on the treatment regime. I consider that i am able to provide the patients with a “total care experience”, as well as having a good understanding and approach towards my patients. I aim to set and follow high standards and offer a warm welcome to new and existing patients.  All patients are considered individually, and treatments are tailored to each person’s needs and tolerances.
